How to Contribute to Food Finders:
Food Finders Food Bank provides many opportunities for individuals, clubs and organizations to help the needy in mid-north Indiana. As the first line of defense against hunger, the food bank relies on the support and generosity of the community.


Individual Donations & Volunteering:

You can support Food Finders and its efforts by:

1. Donating food
Bring your food donations to Food Finders anytime during operating hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00-5:00). For large donation, Food Finders will pick up food in one of our vehicles.

Food items in need:
Peanut butter, 100% fruit juices, soups and stews, canned and boxed meals, pasta and meat sauces, canned meats, canned fruits and vegetables, macaroni and cheese, boxed rice and potatoes and cereal.

Nonfood items in need:
Paper products, laundry products, personal care products (soap, shampoo, deodorant and toothpaste).



2. Contributing financially
Funds are used for purchase of food and the associated transportation. Please contact our Program Coordinator or Resource Director regarding a donation or send a check to:

Planned Giving
When you remember Food Finders in your will or estate planning, you are making a long-term investment in our mission. 3. Volunteer your time

Giving Made Easy
Food Finders works to save our donors time, money and staffing by relieving companies of surplus or unmarketable food and nonfood items. To this end, we promise our donors the following:


1. Fast and free product pick-up. We understand that warehouse space is costly; staff time is valuable.

2. Distribute product only to IRS503(c) nonprofit agencies. We will monitor those agencies and guard against product re-entry.

3. Provide accurate, timely receipting. We understand that your receipt is valuable for internal records and tax purposes.
